    Brief

Tate Modern seeks a design and development partner to create a prototype mixed reality experience for the Turbine Hall, one of London's most visited artistic spaces. The experience will allow visitors to view recreated past Turbine Hall commissions in 360/180-degree immersive format and design their own virtual commissions to see the space transformed with their ideas. This prototype phase (estimated budget £150,000) is the foundation for securing partner funding for a full rollout. The successful supplier will be evaluated on the entire project scope including scalability, extensibility, and long-term maintenance capabilities. If funding is secured, the awarded tenderer will be offered the full rollout contract without further competition, subject to satisfactory prototype completion and agreement on Phase 2 pricing. If funding is not secured, the contract concludes after the prototype phase with no guarantee of further work. Tenderers must price and plan accordingly, treating the prototype as potentially the complete scope of work.
