Home Oxygen Services Supply – Northern Ireland Market Engagement

Health and Social Care (HSC) Northern Ireland is conducting a Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) exercise to gather supplier interest and identify potential barriers to tendering for Home Oxygen Services (HOS) across the region. The successful contractor will deliver a comprehensive, fully managed home oxygen service supporting patients prescribed oxygen therapy for conditions including Long Term Oxygen Therapy (LTOT) and Ambulatory Oxygen Therapy (AOT). The service aims to ensure safe, effective, and timely oxygen provision in home and care settings. Key service responsibilities include: • Supply of equipment, oxygen, and associated consumables tailored to individual patient needs • Installation, removal, and delivery of equipment and related services • Maintenance, repair, servicing, and ongoing technical support • Clinical and patient support, including training and guidance The appointed contractor will work in partnership with HSC clinical teams and stakeholders to maintain high-quality patient care and service continuity. This PME is designed to encourage supplier participation and help HSC understand any challenges suppliers face so these can be addressed in the formal tender process.
