Carpentry and Minor Building Works Framework - Ireland

Children's Health Ireland (CHI) is seeking qualified organisations and individuals to provide carpentry installation and minor building works services across its hospital sites, including the National Children's Hospital Ireland and facilities at Crumlin, Temple Street, Connolly, and Tallaght. This is a 36-month framework agreement (extendable by one year) to support operational commissioning of the National Children's Hospital Ireland beginning in 2026 and ongoing maintenance across all CHI locations. Typical projects range from €2,000 to €25,000 and include bathroom/shower room refurbishment, office reconfiguration, roof works, infrastructure maintenance, and similar tasks within healthcare environments. The successful contractor must supply all materials and labour at competitive, market-rate prices. CHI will award contracts to the top 4 bidders to form a panel. Projects valued at €25,000 or less automatically go to the highest-ranked bidder, with CHI retaining the right to include other panel members. Projects exceeding €25,000 will be competitively quoted among the 4 bidders and awarded to the lowest cost proposal. A cascade system applies if the preferred bidder is unavailable. CHI reserves the right to price-check materials and procure directly if more economical, and to extend requests to the wider market if bids are deemed poor value.
