Works Quality Inspector

The Works Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting, reviewing, and documenting the condition, quality, and compliance of construction or engineering works within an assigned area. This role is essential for ensuring safe project delivery, identifying defects or non-conformances, and providing clear, timely information to supervisors, engineers, and project teams to support decision-making. Key responsibilities include: conducting planned inspections and site checks according to agreed schedules and applicable standards; reviewing completed or ongoing works to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, method statements, and client requirements; identifying and recording defects, safety concerns, or incomplete work; producing accurate inspection records, reports, and photographic evidence within agreed timeframes; escalating urgent issues affecting safety, quality, program, or asset integrity; coordinating with site teams, supervisors, engineers, planners, and subcontractors; and maintaining compliance with site rules, permits, risk assessments, and health, safety, and environmental requirements. This position requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safe working practices.
