    Brief

The Crown Estate is inviting competitive bids for an agreement for lease to develop a 1.5GW offshore wind farm in the Irish Sea. This services concession contract will grant seabed rights to the successful bidder, who will then construct and operate the wind farm under a lease with The Crown Estate. The tender process follows the Procurement Act 2023. As the contract value is unpredictable and dependent on the developer's overall investment, no maximum value has been specified. Interested suppliers are encouraged to attend a webinar on 25 June 2026 at 10:00 GMT via Microsoft Teams; registration is required at liveoffshorewindtender@thecrownestate.co.uk. Suppliers may also express non-binding interest through The Crown Estate's e-tendering portal at https://etendering.thecrownestate.co.uk. The Crown Estate reserves the right to deny access to any party deemed to lack genuine intention to participate in the tender as either a sole bidder or consortium member.
