Late Night Community Pharmacy Service for Prostate Cancer Survivorship Support at St James's Hospital, Ireland

St James's Hospital is seeking a community pharmacy service provider to establish a specialized late-night pharmacy located within 1-2 km of the hospital. This service will support men undergoing penile rehabilitation as part of their prostate cancer survivorship care. The pharmacy will dispense and manage specialized medications including oral agents, refrigerated topical therapies (such as Vitaros® and Invicorp®), and intracavernosal injection treatments. Key service requirements include: reliable medication access outside standard working hours, proper cold-chain storage for temperature-sensitive products, patient education and counseling, discretion and privacy, and safe collaboration with St James's Hospital's Urology, Oncology, and Survivorship teams. The successful provider will ensure continuity of care, safe prescribing practices, and clear escalation pathways for patient support.
