Catering Services Framework Agreement for Education

Virano Frameworks Ltd is establishing a single-supplier framework agreement for managed catering services in educational settings. This framework is open to schools, academies, multi-academy trusts, colleges, universities and other eligible educational bodies across the UK. The appointed supplier will provide comprehensive managed catering services including menu development, food supply, mobilisation, operational management, compliance support, training, performance monitoring and continuous improvement. Services cover primary meal provision, secondary retail catering and mixed estate arrangements. The framework will operate for four years commencing 2 November 2026, with call-off contracts awarded as needed based on individual customer requirements. Pricing will follow an approved methodology, and framework terms cannot be renegotiated during call-offs. Appointment does not guarantee minimum work volume or exclusivity. The procurement is conducted under the Procurement Act 2023 using the open procedure and Light Touch Regime rules.
