Mechanical and Electrical Framework for Northern Ireland

NHMF Frameworx is seeking market feedback to develop a new Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Framework for Northern Ireland. This framework will provide NHMF members, housing providers, and public sector organizations with a compliant, flexible route to market for M&E works, services, and maintenance. The framework is expected to include separate lots for domestic and commercial works across multiple disciplines: electrical installation and testing; security and life support systems; fire safety systems; mechanical systems including heating and ventilation; sprinkler systems; renewable energy and low-carbon technologies; and multi-disciplinary M&E services. NHMF Frameworx particularly welcomes engagement from Northern Ireland-based contractors, SMEs, and specialist providers to understand local supply chain capability and ensure opportunities for organizations of all sizes. This preliminary market engagement seeks feedback on proposed scope, lot structure, geographic coverage, contract values, delivery models, and participation barriers. Feedback will inform the procurement strategy and tender documentation. Participation in this engagement does not provide competitive advantage in future procurement processes and does not commit any party to proceeding with the framework.
