24/7 Maritime Operations Monitoring and Support Service

The Ministry of Defence is seeking a qualified supplier to establish and operate the UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) Operations Centre. This service must deliver continuous, round-the-clock maritime monitoring and analysis to support Royal Navy operations and UK Government maritime security priorities. Key responsibilities include: monitoring commercial shipping traffic to provide maritime situational awareness; analyzing maritime threats and incidents; coordinating responses to security events; managing information systems and databases; overseeing a security-cleared workforce with appropriate training programs; engaging with international maritime partners; and supporting maritime reserve integration efforts. The successful supplier will have security clearance capabilities and a team experienced in naval operations, maritime security, and government coordination. The service supports multiple stakeholders including the Royal Navy, other Defence branches, government departments, and international allies by delivering timely intelligence, incident response, and strategic maritime security guidance.
