Design and Construction of Two Multi-Functional Buoy Handling Vessels

Trinity House, the General Lighthouse Authority for England, Wales, the Channel Islands and Gibraltar, is awarding two contracts for the design and construction of two identical state-of-the-art multi-functional buoy handling vessels. These new vessels will replace the aging THV Patricia and THV Galatea, which are currently used for buoy maintenance and lighthouse support operations. Each contract covers the complete design and build of one vessel, with delivery of the first vessel expected by 3 April 2032 and the second by 29 October 2032. Trinity House is responsible for the provision and maintenance of lighthouses, light vessels, marine buoyage and other aids to navigation around English, Welsh, and Gibraltar waters.
