Devon and Somerset Standing List of Approved Contractors – 2026 Reopening

The Devon and Somerset Standing List of Approved Contractors (SLoAC) is a pre-qualified contractor framework for maintenance, improvement, and building works ranging from under £5,000 up to £2,000,000 per project. This is the first reopening of the 2025 list, which replaced the previous framework that operated since April 2016. The SLoAC covers 15 geographic sub-areas across Devon and Somerset and includes 39 work categories. Approved contractors will be selected through competitive procurement processes for individual projects, with preference given to those holding accreditation from the Comprehensive Accreditation Service Provider. Contractors are assessed against minimum standards through pass/fail evaluation criteria. The framework is used by Devon County Council and other public sector organizations to streamline procurement and due diligence processes. The SLoAC is also available for use by other public bodies within Devon and Somerset.
