Social and Emotional Learning Programme Delivery in Richmond Primary Schools

Richmond Council's Public Health Team is seeking a contractor to deliver the Promoting Alternative Thinking Strategies (PATHS) Programme across early years settings and primary schools in Richmond. PATHS is an evidence-based social and emotional learning intervention for children aged 4 to 11 years that strengthens emotional understanding, social problem solving, pro-social behaviour, and self-control. The programme uses a universal, whole school approach proven to support positive mental wellbeing and has demonstrated sustained, measurable positive outcomes in Richmond settings. This is an 11-month direct award contract from 1 September 2026 to 31 July 2027, valued at £78,100. The Council seeks a contractor with established expertise and existing relationships with Richmond schools to maintain programme fidelity, ensure continuity of delivery, and maximise outcomes for young children.
