Trauma-Informed Relational Practice Professional Learning Programme for Wales

Learning Wales is seeking a professional learning partner to develop and deliver a national programme focused on Trauma-Informed Relational Practice. The successful partner will be responsible for programme design, delivery, resource development, and stakeholder engagement to support practitioners across Wales in implementing trauma-informed, relationship-centred approaches within their settings and organisations. This work recognises that relational and trauma-informed practice significantly improves outcomes for children and young people, especially those who have experienced adversity, trauma, exclusion, or disadvantage. The programme aims to create a nationally consistent professional learning initiative, supported by Welsh Government, ensuring all practitioners across the education and care system share a common understanding, language, and practical approaches. This will help create safer, more inclusive, and more effective learning environments that benefit vulnerable and disadvantaged learners. Prospective partners should have expertise in professional learning design, trauma-informed practice, relational approaches, and experience working across education and care sectors in Wales.
