Borehole Testing and Analysis for Decarbonisation Project

The Trust is seeking a qualified contractor to conduct test borehole drilling and comprehensive analysis to assess the technical viability and inform the design of a Public Sector Decarbonisation project. The contractor's scope of work includes: monitoring groundwater conditions, drilling test wells, abstracting and reinjecting groundwater, conducting flow rate and heat capacity testing, and liaising with the Environment Agency to ensure regulatory compliance. This work is essential for evaluating the feasibility of ground source heat systems or similar geothermal solutions as part of the decarbonisation initiative. Interested contractors should have experience in hydrogeological surveying, borehole drilling, groundwater testing, and environmental permits.
