    Brief

This programme funds organisations to deliver person-centred support that helps people move into work and progress in their careers. The support should be tailored, flexible and accessible, and can include: initial assessment and triage; referral to specialist services; confidence and self-esteem building; physical and mental health support; financial wellbeing advice; and help to overcome barriers such as childcare, transport and training costs. The programme targets people facing employment challenges, including: young people aged 16-24 and older workers aged 50-64; people who are long-term sick, disabled or managing health conditions; people from rural, coastal and isolated communities; women; people from ethnic minorities; young people not in education, employment or training; and people with complex needs such as homelessness, care experience, criminal convictions, substance abuse issues or domestic violence experience. Innovative approaches are welcomed provided they support the programme's outputs and outcomes. All participant information must be collected and reported through the monitoring process.
