Ireland – Intelligent Transport Systems Equipment Frameworks Generation 2

Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) is establishing nine framework agreements to procure Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) equipment, installation services, and civil works. This is a four-year contract with a total estimated value of €75 million, divided into two main components: Lots 1–3A to 3F (estimated €27 million) will support TII's ITS equipment requirements for maintaining and expanding its roadside infrastructure linked to the Motorway Operations Control Centre in Dublin. Lot 4 (estimated €48 million) will establish a separate framework to help local authorities procure and install Periodic School Limit traffic signs at schools nationwide under a Government directive. TII will manage the framework agreements, oversee the eTenders system, and monitor ceiling limits. Local authorities will conduct their own mini-competitions and fund their call-off contracts under Lot 4. Suppliers should note that Lot 4 is open for use by local authorities, with TII retaining the option to participate directly if needed.
