    Brief

Cambridge City Council invites suppliers to a Pre Market Engagement session for the Cambridgeshire Home Improvement Agency (CHIA) Equipment Contract. CHIA, a shared council service operating across Cambridge City, Huntingdonshire, and South Cambridgeshire, seeks new suppliers for equipment provision and installation across six lots: modular ramps, stair and step lifts, ceiling track hoists, automated entry systems, specialist toilets, and through floor lifts. Suppliers must be expert installers capable of working across all three council areas, collaborating with Occupational Therapists to assess, design, and install specialist equipment tailored to client needs. The total contract value across all lots is expected to be £4 million, with contracts advertised in July 2026 and commencing 1 November 2026. Each contract will be awarded for an initial two-year period with options to extend for up to two additional years. Suppliers should visit www.cambshia.org for more information about the service.
