Fire Safety Works Framework Contracts with Southern Housing

Southern Housing is seeking qualified contractors to deliver fire remedial works across their property portfolio through two separate framework agreements, each with a four-year duration. Lot 1 (Low Value Projects) has an estimated annual value of £25 million and is designed for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), with plans to appoint 4-5 contractors. Lot 2 (High Value Projects) has an estimated annual value of £35 million and targets larger suppliers, also appointing 4-5 contractors. An SME is defined as having fewer than 250 staff and annual turnover of £44 million or less (or balance sheet total of £38 million or less). Suppliers should note that restrictions apply on the number of lots they can bid for. Southern Housing has intentionally created two lots to remove barriers for SME participation in line with the Procurement Act 2023.
