    Brief

University College Cork (UCC) is seeking an Integrated Design Team to develop Phase 1 of a comprehensive outdoor sports facilities master plan. The appointed team will design and plan enhancements across three locations: Mardyke Sports Grounds, a new UCC Sports Park, and Curraheen Sports Grounds (The Farm). The design team must include Civil and Structural Engineering (team lead), Architecture, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and a Project Supervisor Design Process. Scope includes: resurfacing an existing hockey pitch for multi-sport use, constructing new changing facilities (300-400m² per site), boat storage, equipment and maintenance stores, multiple synthetic pitches (soccer, GAA, and hockey) with floodlighting, perimeter fencing, upgraded LED floodlights, parking, roads, drainage infrastructure, and biodiversity spaces. This is a pre-construction design phase that will establish detailed designs and specifications for subsequent construction phases.
