Transportation Services for Children, Young People and Adults (Up to 8-Seater Vehicles)

Blackpool Council is establishing an open framework to procure transportation services for children, young people, and adults (including those with Special Educational Needs) using vehicles with up to 8 passenger seats. Service providers will transport passengers and assigned passenger assistants to and from various establishments across Blackpool and surrounding areas. Lot 1 involves school transport services operating 07:30-10:30 and 14:00-17:30, Monday-Friday during the school academic year (approximately 39 weeks per year), with routes allocated through mini-competition. Lots 2 and 3 cover flexible daytime services arranged by Council officers on an as-needed basis during regular office hours. Selected providers will be added to a framework from which Blackpool Council will call off services throughout the contract term. This is an open tender procedure conducted under the Procurement Act 2023.
