Cleaning Services Tender for South Farnham Educational Trust Schools

South Farnham Educational Trust (SFET) is inviting tenders for cleaning services across 7 schools (8 sites) within its Multi-Academy Trust. The contract runs for 3 years from 1 August 2026 to 31 July 2029, with an optional 2-year extension to 31 July 2031. The Blue Coat School will join on 1 August 2027. Services include daily term-time cleaning and periodic deep cleaning. The Trust values best value over lowest price and welcomes innovative proposals to enhance cleaning standards. Evaluation will be 35% price and 65% quality. Contract value is approximately £2.165 million (£433,000 annually). Minimum requirements: £5 million employers' and public liability insurance, £1 million annual turnover. The procurement will use a two-stage Competitive Flexible Procedure with a Procurement Specific Questionnaire (PSQ) followed by an Invitation to Tender (ITT). Selected contractors must demonstrate excellent service delivery, staff management, and productivity. Currently, cleaning services are provided by three separate contractors: Steadfast Cleaning, Nviro, and YBC. The Trust reserves the right not to appoint and may add additional schools to the contract during the tenure at its discretion.
