    Brief

    The Crown Estate is awarding a 10-year Agreement for Lease for seabed rights to develop an offshore wind farm in the Irish Sea with a maximum capacity of 1.5GW. This is a competitive tender under the Procurement Act 2023. The successful bidder will gain rights to develop the wind farm and may subsequently enter into a lease with The Crown Estate for construction and operation, subject to meeting specified conditions. The contract value cannot be predetermined due to the variable nature of concession value. Interested suppliers must register on The Crown Estate's e-tendering portal at https://etendering.thecrownestate.co.uk to request access to the Morgan Procurement Specific Questionnaire. The Crown Estate reserves the right to deny portal access to applicants without a genuine intention to bid as a sole bidder or consortium member.
