    Brief

The Scottish Police Authority seeks a qualified supplier or contractor to provide comprehensive maintenance, repair, and support services for its growing electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. The contract scope includes: managing approximately 300 existing EV charging units (mix of AC and DC with various power capacities), performing preventative and reactive maintenance, conducting new installations as the fleet expands during Phase 2 rollout, and relocating charging assets to new sites including decommissioning and reinstallation. The Authority may also extend services to cover EV charging assets operated by other Scottish Blue Light Services (emergency services), which could significantly increase the overall contract volume. Suppliers are invited to provide input on market availability, resource capacity, contract structures, recommended timescales, service delivery models, and best practices that have proven effective for similar-scale projects. This is a market scoping exercise to establish baseline understanding of supplier capabilities and optimal contract arrangements.
