Personal Safety Devices Framework - Suffolk County Council

Suffolk County Council is establishing a single vendor framework for monitored Lone Worker and Personal Safety solutions. This framework is available to Suffolk County Council, its wholly-owned trading organisations, arm's length bodies, and other UK public contracting authorities including district and borough councils, mayoral authorities, unitary authorities, county councils, police, fire and rescue services, ambulance services, probation services, health authorities, voluntary and community sector organisations, and educational establishments (including schools, academies, and free schools). The successful vendor will provide a comprehensive monitored personal safety solution including devices that support staff working alone or in higher-risk situations, with appropriate intervention capabilities and escalation methods proportionate to user needs. The solution must accommodate a wide range of risk levels and job roles, with devices that are intuitive and easy to use. Training for all users is included as part of the contract. The framework aims to maximise flexibility for all eligible authorities in safeguarding their employees and minimising risks associated with lone working. Framework value: up to £4,000,000 (excluding VAT) across all potential users. Contract deadline for submissions was 23 January 2026 at 12:00 noon. Contract date: 1 June 2026.
