    Brief

DSIT is seeking a Regional Delivery Partner to deliver the TechFirst youth programme (TechYouth) across Yorkshire and Humber. TechFirst is the Government's flagship digital and technology skills initiative designed to address the skills gap in the tech sector, one of the UK's 8 growth-driving sectors. As Regional Delivery Partner, you will be responsible for on-the-ground programme delivery, working with schools, colleges, local industry, and academic institutions to reach young people with digital skills development activities and career inspiration events. The TechYouth strand targets 1 million students across the UK, with specific focus on building diversity in the tech talent pipeline by encouraging uptake from girls and students from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds. Your role will involve delivering skills-building workshops, organising career days, and inspiring students to pursue digital and computing qualifications at ages 14 and 16. Success will be measured by increased student engagement with technology, improved understanding of tech career pathways, and growth in computing qualification uptake among underrepresented groups. The partner will work collaboratively across the regional ecosystem to create sustainable pathways into technology careers.
