    Brief

    This is an open tender for a four-year framework contract to manage road asset maintenance and upgrades across Northern Ireland. The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) is seeking a qualified supplier to deliver road restraint systems installation, repair, and associated works through three regional area lots and project-based work orders. Scope of Work: The framework covers installation and repair of road restraint systems, structural demolition, earthworks, concrete construction, inspection assistance, and temporary traffic management on active road networks. Additional services may include surface reinstatement and site clearance. Contract Structure: - Three Area Lots (valued up to £750,000 each excluding VAT) covering: North region (Causeway Coast & Glens, Mid & East Antrim, Antrim & Newtownabbey); East & South region (Belfast, Lisburn & Castlereagh, Armagh, Banbridge & Craigavon, Newry, Mourne & Down, Ards & North Down); and West region (Mid Ulster, Derry & Strabane, Fermanagh & Omagh) - Project Lots for individual contracts valued between £750,001 and £5 million (excluding VAT) Value and Duration: Total framework value of £22 million over four years, with potential extension up to 12 additional months bringing the cumulative value to £27.5 million (excluding VAT). Eligible suppliers must demonstrate capability in road construction, maintenance, traffic management, and project delivery under NEC ECC terms.
