    Brief

Kirklees Council is inviting care providers to shape the future delivery of short breaks and domiciliary care services for children with disabilities. This market engagement and co-production event will bring together providers to inform the development of a new service specification and commissioning model. The event takes place on 29th July 2026 from 2pm-4pm at Huddersfield Town Hall. We are seeking input from: providers currently delivering short breaks (respite and community-based support), domiciliary care services providers for children and young people, and organisations interested in developing or expanding services in this sector. This early engagement activity aims to gather insights that will ensure future arrangements are deliverable, sustainable, and aligned with current market conditions. To attend, providers must register via YORtender by Friday 24th July with their organisation name, attendee details, and any accessibility requirements.
