Materials Framework Tender - Preliminary Market Engagement for Construction Supplies

Orbit Group and Orbit Homes are seeking suppliers for a 4-year Materials Framework to supply manufactured and delivered materials for new build and regeneration housing projects. This closed framework aims to provide reliable, compliant, and cost-effective materials that support project specifications, build schedules, and quality standards across Orbit's pipeline of developments. The framework comprises 14 lots covering: facing bricks and brick specials, thermal and concrete blocks, timber joists and trusses, thermally broken lintels and steel, soffit/fascia/GRP/cladding, stone cills, internal doors and linings, first and second fix timbers, ironmongery, staircases, garage doors, small plant hire, forklift hire, and construction fuel. Suppliers will be evaluated on reliability, technical compliance, sustainability, and continuous improvement in support of Orbit's commitment to delivering safe, affordable, high-quality homes aligned with the Orbit Homes Strategy 2030. Tender launch is anticipated July-September 2026, with lot values and detailed ordering models (mini competitions and direct awards) to be confirmed. This preliminary market engagement invites suppliers to review the project brief and complete a survey questionnaire to shape the final framework structure.
