    Brief

    This project involves a comprehensive refresh of the Layer de la Haye recreation ground, located on New Cut opposite the Village Hall. A single supplier is required to design, supply, and install new and upgraded play equipment, sports facilities, and fitness amenities to replace and extend the current offerings. Scope of Work: Retain: Nest swing and space net. Remove: Existing 2 pairs of swings and child trim trail. The supplier should propose a new layout optimizing flow and age-appropriate zoning. Required Equipment: - 5 swings (2 normal, 2 baby, 1 inclusive) - 4 tower junior multi-play units - Preschool junior play ship - 10-12 separate teen to adult gym pieces (suggest best configuration: line or square) - Accessible carousel and trampoline (wheelchair accessible) - 4-seater see-saw with tyre bump stops - Inclusive sensory panels/boards - Trim trail (stepper platforms, crawl net, spiders web climber, curved traverse net) - Teen pod (with wind break side covering, no table) - Zip wire (placement to be determined considering resident concerns) - Basketball/football nets (rectangular, no solid panels) with renewed surface - Coloured wet pour and grass matting (supplier to advise on coverage and maintenance) Required Deliverables: - Design proposal with age-related zoning and optimized flow - All appropriate safety signage and CCTV/warning signs - Delivery and installation within 6 months (12-month contract duration to account for weather) - Secure storage and insurance for equipment pre-installation - Removal of all spoils and waste - Site security and welfare provision - Recommended annual maintenance and independent inspection plan - Warranty details and lead time The chosen supplier must ensure all equipment meets appropriate safety standards and provide independent safety inspections.
