Flexible Accommodation and Support Services for Young People Aged 16-21

Hampshire County Council's Children Services Directorate is commissioning Flexible Supported Accommodation Services for young people aged 16-21 who are in local authority care or separated children. This service provides short-term, person-centred support to help young people transition towards independent living or lower levels of support. Service Requirements: - Provision of suitable accommodation meeting the Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023 - Flexible, outcome-focused support tailored to individual needs - Focus on building independence and life skills - Properties must be available in Hampshire Eligibility Requirements: - Ofsted registration required in one or more of these categories: self-contained accommodation; ring-fenced shared accommodation for Looked After Children (LAC) and care leavers; or non-ring-fenced shared accommodation - Compliance with Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023 and Quality Standards - Demonstrated capability in leadership, safeguarding, accommodation management, and support delivery Contract Terms: - Initial period: 4 years (starting 4 January 2027) - Two optional 2-year extensions available - Maximum contract duration: 8 years This is an opportunity for Ofsted-registered providers to support Hampshire's vulnerable young people in achieving greater independence.
