Brief

This procurement consists of two lots for the Weaver Network bus franchising programme in West Yorkshire. Lot 1 - Electronic Ticketing Machines (ETM): Supply, installation, testing, and maintenance of hardware and software for electronic ticketing systems on Weaver Network buses. New equipment is preferred, though second-hand units may be considered if they meet minimum technical requirements. Lot 2 - Automatic Vehicle Locators (AVL): Supply and installation of approximately 550 AVL units for Round 1 buses (new, residual value, and operator-provided), with optional expansion to 930 units for Rounds 2 and 3. Includes hardware, software, wiring looms, SIM cards, installation, testing, back office systems, and software licences to enable real-time vehicle location tracking and data feeds.
