    Brief

The UK Ministry of Defence Support Capabilities & Commodities Team seeks a supplier to deliver Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) aircraft spare parts and related services to Defence locations across the United Kingdom. The contract will initially cover approximately 11,000 consumable aircraft spare parts identified by NATO Stock Numbers (NSNs), with scope to expand up to 15,000 NSNs. Key deliverables include: contract management, supply chain analysis and modelling, delivery of spares to the Support Capabilities & Commodities Depot, obsolescence management, and technical support. Suppliers must conduct spares modelling using historical consumption data to forecast future requirements and ensure spares availability across all Defence platforms through 2046. All items must demonstrate airworthiness through compliance with Military Aviation Authority (MAA) regulations, applicable aerospace standards, and proper documentation including manufacturer traceability and recognised quality management systems. The supported Defence platforms have planned out-of-service dates between 2025 and 2046, and the contract may be amended to include new platforms introduced during this period. This is a high cyber-risk requirement subject to Transfer of Undertakings (TUPE) regulations. Preliminary market engagement has been published (Notice 2025/S 000-007556) and a pipeline notice was previously released (Notice 2025/S 000-024717).
