Alternative Education Provision Framework

The Council is establishing a framework to support the commissioning and placement of children and young people who require educational provision outside of mainstream school settings. This framework will enable the Council to identify, contract, and manage alternative education providers and placements for students with diverse needs, including those with behavioral, emotional, social, or additional learning requirements. Suppliers should have experience delivering alternative education services, supporting student wellbeing and progression, and working within council commissioning processes.
