Birmingham City Council is seeking a training provider to deliver bespoke caretaking and estate services training programs for staff working in high and low-rise housing blocks. The provider must deliver three targeted training programs: (1) Estate Caretakers: Train 20-30 staff in the first 12 months and up to 30 in subsequent years, covering Level 1 Practical Cleaning Skills, Level 2 Health and Safety, Level 2 Infection Prevention and Control, and Level 2 COSHH over 3 months with one day per week day release; (2) Neighbourhood and Area Caretakers: Train 57 staff over 24 months in Level 2 COSHH, Level 2 Health and Safety, and practical cleaning skills, delivered over 4 days within 2-4 weeks with one day per week day release; (3) Housing Officers and Managers: Train up to 20 staff in Level 2 COSHH, Level 2 Health and Safety, and practical cleaning skills at accessible venues and various estate locations across Birmingham. All training must be flexible, competency-based, and delivered through day release arrangements.
