EV Charging Points Installation and Management - Warwick and Stratford-on-Avon Council Car Parks

Warwick District Council and Stratford-on-Avon District Council are seeking a single Charge Point Operator (CPO) to install, manage, and maintain electric vehicle (EV) charging points across their public car parks on a concession basis. The successful provider will install and operate EV chargepoints at appropriate charging speeds, paying an annual flat fee per space. The first phase of installation is expected to be completed within 24 months, with a minimum requirement to install chargepoints according to 2025 modelling projections (detailed in Appendix 2). The appointed CPO will have the opportunity to expand chargepoint numbers beyond the initial bid if demand warrants. The contract will run for 15 years with an optional one-year extension at the councils' discretion. Warwick District Council and Stratford-on-Avon District Council's Climate Change Teams will oversee the tender process and installation phase, while the councils' car parking teams will manage the ongoing contract. The approximate contract value is £645,000 per 12-month period.
