Highway and Street Lighting Maintenance Services Contract - 6 Year Term

Isle of Anglesey County Council is seeking a contractor to deliver comprehensive highway and street lighting maintenance services across the county for six years, commencing April 1st, 2027. The contract, valued at approximately £12 million, will be delivered under the NEC4 Term Service Contract framework. Services include routine, reactive, planned and emergency maintenance for: carriageway and footway repair, drainage systems, highway structures, traffic management, winter gritting support, street lighting maintenance, LED upgrades, electrical testing, energy management, and emergency call-out services. The successful contractor must work collaboratively with the Council to deliver safe, efficient and sustainable services while supporting objectives including value for money, carbon reduction, social value, community benefits, Welsh language requirements, health and safety standards, and continuous improvement. There is no guaranteed minimum workload. Interested contractors should have expertise in highway maintenance, street lighting systems, emergency response capabilities, and experience working with local authorities.
