Northern Ireland Health and Social Care (HSC) is conducting preliminary market engagement for a planned procurement of consumables used with Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) and Adaptive Servo-Ventilation (ASV) machines. These therapies are essential for treating patients with Obstructive Sleep Apnoea and other sleep-related breathing disorders across HSC Trust Sleep Services. The future framework agreement will ensure a continuous supply of a broad range of CPAP and ASV consumables and accessories, allowing clinicians to select clinically appropriate products while supporting legacy equipment. Key supply categories include CPAP and ASV masks, associated consumables, and accessories. This preliminary engagement aims to gauge supplier interest, identify barriers to participation, and inform the tender design to encourage competition and ensure suppliers can effectively meet HSC requirements.
