Derbyshire Social Connection Service Contract

Derbyshire County Council is procuring a social connection service for residents across three geographical lots to reduce loneliness, improve wellbeing, and strengthen community resilience. The service will be delivered across three areas: Lot 1 (North East: Bolsover, Chesterfield, North East Derbyshire), Lot 2 (North West: High Peak, Derbyshire Dales), and Lot 3 (South: Erewash, Amber Valley, South Derbyshire). The initial contract runs from 1 November 2026 to 31 October 2028 (2 years), with an optional 12-month extension, for a maximum term of 3 years. This procurement is conducted under the Light Touch Regime of the Procurement Act 2023. Tenderers should note that the contract may be affected by Local Government Reorganisation and could be novated to successor councils or modified to reflect new council arrangements, managed under the Procurement Act 2023 and contractual provisions.
