Intelligent Transport Systems Supply, Installation and Maintenance

Southend-on-Sea City Council seeks a qualified supplier to supply, install, and maintain intelligent transport systems across the city. Responsibilities include managing traffic signals, variable message signs, RGB signs, school warning signs, car park guidance signs, car park count controllers, and vehicle speed-activated signs. The supplier will access the Council's asset management system daily to identify, rectify, and report faults. Free login access will be provided to remote monitoring systems including Swarco RMS, Swarco Zephyr, and Yunex UTC (to be replaced with Swarco My City during contract term). The supplier must perform annual equipment inspections and internal cleaning, and supply and install new equipment as funding becomes available. Work is ordered through mechanisms detailed in tender documents, with volumes and values specified therein. Full service requirements are outlined in the accompanying Scope document.
