Brief

Swindon Borough Council is conducting a Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) exercise to gather supplier feedback on the future delivery of Community Equipment Repair and Maintenance Services. This is an opportunity to shape service design and procurement strategy. The Council is seeking input from experienced organisations on current market capabilities, service delivery models, innovation, operational considerations and commercial approaches. The anticipated contract value is approximately £750,000 with a proposed three-year term, plus optional extensions of up to three additional one-year periods. Suppliers should provide evidence-based responses and clearly state any assumptions. Selected suppliers may be invited to participate in follow-up clarification discussions. Participation is voluntary and non-binding, and this exercise does not constitute a formal call for competition. The feedback gathered will be used to develop a safe, effective and value-for-money service model that helps residents maintain independence in their own homes. For full details, please refer to the attached specification and supplier questionnaire. Reference: DN820744
