Catering Services Tender for Greensand Multi Academy Trust

Greensand Multi Academy Trust, a ten-school medium-sized trust in Surrey and West Sussex, is seeking a catering contractor to serve approximately 4,202 students and 750 staff across all schools from September 2026 to September 2029 (3+2 year contract). The successful contractor will provide lunch services, hospitality, and free school meals using fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients prepared on-site. This is a Guaranteed Performance Contract where the contractor offers a guaranteed annual return while schools retain sovereignty over meal pricing. The Trust seeks an innovative contractor who can enhance food quality, introduce new concepts to meet diverse dietary requirements, and potentially make capital investments in dining facilities. The service will operate for 190 school days per year. Value for money is important, but the lowest bid will not necessarily be accepted. Contractors are encouraged to propose work experience and apprenticeship opportunities, and to align with the Trust's values around healthy eating and sustainability.
