Coastline Housing Ltd seeks qualified contractors to provide comprehensive heating system services across approximately 5,000 residential homes and 5 commercial properties in Cornwall. This is a 24/7/365 emergency service contract with a 2-hour response target for priority repairs and 24-hour completion timeframe. The contract, valued at £19.5 million over 3 years with potential 7-year extension, is divided into three lots: (1) Fossil Fuel Systems covering gas, oil, and solid fuel boilers plus associated appliances; (2) Renewable Systems including heat pumps and solar thermal installations; and (3) Planned Component Replacements for system upgrades. Contractors must maintain 100% regulatory compliance, hold relevant industry accreditations (Gas Safe, OFTEC, HETAS, MCS, NICEIC), demonstrate capacity for high-volume service delivery, and support Coastline's zero-landfill sustainability standards. The role requires local knowledge to manage Cornwall's geographical challenges, priority identification of vulnerable customers, and commitment to minimizing gas capping through persistent access attempts. Contractors will use Coastline's online portal for daily work documentation and face performance penalties up to £100,000 monthly for non-compliance.
