Local Bus Service Contract - Stamford, Wittering to Peterborough

The Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority is seeking qualified bus service operators to provide local bus services on Route 27, covering Stamford, Wittering, and Peterborough. This is a funded contract opportunity starting Monday, 1st June 2026 for an initial 24-month period with an optional 12-month extension (maximum 36 months total). Successful bidders must be capable of delivering the full service specification from the start date. The contract requirements are detailed in the Route Schedule, including specific routes, timetables, vehicle types, ticketing systems, and any special conditions. Providers are encouraged to propose integration with the existing commercial bus network where possible. Bidders should note that the Authority reserves the right to not award a contract.
