    Brief

The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) requires all participating countries, including the UK, to submit Biennial Transparency Reports (BTRs) detailing their greenhouse gas inventories and climate actions. These reports must be independently reviewed by qualified experts from the UNFCCC Roster of Experts. This opportunity seeks to fund and support a UK-based expert who is registered on the UNFCCC Roster of Experts to participate in the formal review process of Belarus' Biennial Transparency Report. The successful expert will evaluate the technical accuracy, completeness, and compliance of Belarus' submission with UNFCCC guidelines. All participating UK experts must maintain current status on the UNFCCC Roster of Experts and meet specified qualification criteria.
