Design and Build Contract for 65 Social Housing Units in Bow, London

London Borough of Tower Hamlets is seeking a contractor for the design and construction of a 65-unit social housing development at Watts Grove, Bow, London E3. The site is cleared and benefits from extant planning permission (PA 18 03075 S). The project involves constructing three residential blocks up to 6 storeys high using lightweight steel frame construction on existing foundations. Each block will have dedicated stair and lift cores. Works include ground preparation, landscaping, boundary construction, and ancillary buildings. All 65 units will be let at social rent levels, comprising a mix of 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, and 3-bedroom apartments. The contractor will be responsible for the complete design and build delivery of this housing scheme.
