Opportunity Details: - Contract value: approximately £225,000 per annum - Duration: 3 years (January 2026 to December 2028) with optional 2-year extension - Location: Terling Road, Wood Lane, Dagenham, RM8 1JT - Current service: onsite supervisor and team of 17 cleaners working approximately 250 hours per week Key Requirements: The successful supplier must deliver high-quality cleaning services with consistent standards across all facilities. The school seeks innovation in cleaning methods, technology, and equipment, with BICSc standard certification as a minimum requirement. The supplier will be responsible for quality local supervision, staff training and recruitment, and proactive contract management. School Priorities: - Maintain consistent cleanliness standards throughout the facility - Improve communication between service provider and school stakeholders - Upgrade machinery, technology, and review cleaning chemicals - Implement disciplined reporting and regular stakeholder meetings - Develop a genuine partnership approach with strong stakeholder engagement Selection Process: Up to five suppliers will be invited to the tender stage following an initial selection phase. All selection will be based on criteria outlined in tender documents, applied transparently and without discrimination. Suppliers must meet minimum participation conditions to progress. The successful supplier will operate on a fixed-price basis, invoicing monthly for one-twelfth of annual costs, with provisions for returning unworked hours to the trust.
