    Brief

This project involves emergency coastal protection works at Strandhill's upper foreshore, located north of Strandhill Promenade. The main works include placement of approximately 2,500 tonnes of 1-3 tonne rock armour across a 90-metre section of the upper foreshore above the high-water mark as defined by the Chief Boundary Surveyor. Additional elements include construction of associated hardstanding areas, site access arrangements via Strandhill Promenade with visibility splay and fencing, and a temporary construction compound. The scheme also encompasses related site development works and services necessary for project completion. This is an urgent coastal protection initiative designed to address foreshore erosion and protect the area from further deterioration.
