Surgical Gloves National Framework Agreement

NHS Supply Chain is seeking suppliers for a National Framework Agreement to supply surgical gloves to the NHS and eligible UK healthcare organisations. The framework will cover latex and synthetic surgical gloves in various specifications (general surgery, undergloves, sensitive, textured). This procurement is being conducted as a separate framework from examination gloves to better serve distinct market needs and customer requirements. The framework is available to NHS Trusts, NHS entities, government departments, agencies, statutory bodies, and private sector healthcare providers in the UK. The estimated value is £31.1 million for the first 12 months and approximately £165 million over the full 48-month term. Successful suppliers must meet strict requirements including ISO 9001:2015/ISO 13485:2016 certification, CE marking where applicable, Modern Slavery Act compliance, MSAT assessment (41% or above), third-party social audits for manufacturing facilities, Evergreen Sustainable Supplier Assessment (Level 1+), valid Carbon Reduction Plan, and cyber security standards. Distributors must provide written authorisation from manufacturers. All tender submissions must be made through the Jaggaer system, and suppliers must be registered on the Central Digital Platform. Tenderers are responsible for maintaining accurate account information across all registration platforms.
