Street Sweeping Waste Treatment Services

Peterborough City Council operates mechanical street sweepers to maintain surfaced public spaces and roads throughout the city. As the local Waste Disposal Authority, the Council seeks a competent contractor to treat and process street sweeping waste materials. The collected materials include litter (cigarette butts, food packaging), organic waste (leaf litter, weeds), and road debris (grit and dirt). The successful contractor will be responsible for receiving, sorting, treating, and appropriately disposing of or recycling these materials in compliance with environmental regulations. This is an ongoing service contract to manage the disposal of street cleansing waste generated across Peterborough's town centre and residential areas.
