Roadside Vehicle Survey for VED Compliance 2027

The Department for Transport (DfT) is seeking a qualified supplier to conduct a roadside survey across the UK to identify vehicles without valid Vehicle Excise Duty (VED). The survey will take place at selected locations during June and early July 2027. The supplier will use camera-based technology to capture vehicle registration marks and photographic evidence of vehicles in traffic.
